ASCII Code

I think you have already heard about the ASCII.  ASCII is generally pronounced as Aski and the Full form of it is American Standard Code for Information Interchange. ASCII code is generally a systematic arrangement of the Symbol and sign which we use in computers. Basically ASCII code is the product given by ANSI. The keystroke which we type with the keyboard is directly converted to ASCII.  If you open the CHARMAP, the character map then you can find all the alphabet and numbers including the signs and below of the chart you will find the shortcut code and corresponding HEX number as well. ASCII is basically 7 bit and it can generate 2^7 bit i.e. 128 Characters. Recently ASCII is 8 bit as well which is 2^8 i.e 256 .

Generally in the examination or MCQ Test, questions are being asked for the ASCII character and its Decimal and Hexadecimal Number. There is a Shortcut Trick to memorize it Quickly. There is something that we need to remember first. Like if you see the Keyboard then It basically contain followings

Above table is the trick to memorize the codes.  Let me explain how it is done.

Firstly the unicode ! is started with the count of 21H. It is equivalent to the 33D. the Counting goes as 21,22,23,24,25,26,27,28,29,2A,2B,2C,2D, 2E, 2F,30,31,32,33,34,35,36,37, 38,39, 3A. For the First line you need to remember as 1"34579' i.e. !"#$%&"() and for A-F it comes in the Pattern of *+,-./ 

For the 2nd Line try to remember as 40 H--> @A-Z and on the end :;<=>?

For the 3rd Line try to remember as 61H --> a-z and on the end {|}~ (space) 

the way to remember it as first make sure you count from the first unicode and try to practice the 6 sign unicodes.

Install Linux!

May be you already heard much more about Linux and probably if you hadn't used it before then do not misunderstood it as a command line interface only or something boring shit. Let me tell you something about Linux. Linux is actually a kernel.  People misunderstood it as a Operating System itself. Rather than that it lets understand it in such way, Kernel is the essential core of an operating System which create the bridge relation between the applications and the hardware. The operating System which are working on the Linux kernel are called Linux operating system. Alike Linux, other operating system do have their own Kernel. i.e  Windows have it's own kernel.

Using Linux is really cool on itself. Simply it's a switching process into the freedom. Linux Operating system is an opensource OS. Opensource Software are those types of software which provide free of cost software and Its License provide us the modification permission on our favor. Let me tell you some interesting reason why we need to switch to Linux.

  • Linux is Opensource.
  • Linux software are free and advanced, It bear the potential to work efficiently as a commercial software.
  • Linux is a freedom; Financial freedom, Technically freedom and You can modify it as your flavor. 
  • Linux is universal and It is Most secure OS regarding the Windows. 
  • Several Penetration Testing is done with the help of Linux and The best part of it is Computer virus do not affect it. It doesn't required the Antivirus
  • Most of all popular website like Google, amazon etc are using the Linux for their Server. Mostly Servers are handled by Linux Os.  


Lets have a overview on How to switch on Linux. First you decide which disto of Linux you want to install on your PC. You can click the DOWNLOAD link here.

If you are not pretty sure on the choice you can move to Linux mint. Linux mint is one of the best experience on the Linux. It's GUI is much more similar to the windows but customization of its is far more than Windows. You can follow the following step to install the Linux mint.
  1. Download the .ISO file from any website which you would like to install.
  2. Make a pen drive ready and format it. 
  3. Download any tool like RUFUS or POWERISO to make pendrive bootable.
  4. Once the tool is ready just make the Pendrive bootable and boot it from Laptop recovery and install the Linux. 
  5. Calculation of Partition.
    Suppose if Your PC have the storage of 1TB then you can partition it as follows

    SWAP memory: RAM SIZE *2
    (if your PC have 4 GB RAM then 4*2=8GB i.e 8000MB)

    ROOT / : 50 GB
    (50GB~ 50000MB)

    BOOT/ : 2 GB

    EFI : 1GB
    (1GB~1000MB)

    /home: 600 GB
    (It depends on you how much you want to set for c: in Windows. i.e 600000MB)

    Rest you can Format for Your Storage Partition as D:/
    On this Table Starting from LHS;






Partition 1: Swap Memory
Partition 2:  /Boot
Partition 3: /home
Partition 4: /tmp (optional)
Partition 5: /efi
Partition 6: / (root)
Partional 7 & 8: Local disks storage Partition


This configuration is best for me. Generally Partition can be done as per our requirement but this calculation i had found with several recommendation. Till now i had already tasted most of all flavor of Linux and for this purpose i had my backup on Local disk and rest were destroyed on C:, As a conclusion i got LINUX MINT as the best among the best.

Typing fast and operating the Office packages is really important on current situation. But a lot of people are not finding the proper way to practices. Today I am going to share what is the best way to make yourself practices on the computer.  If you will try to follow it then i can assure you that you wouldn't need any facilitator or instructor for the computer practices. Just you need to follow followings steps.








  1. Typing Practices


    If you are not confident on typing and you want to develop your typing skill then I would like to share something. You need to type a line frequently as much you can. As per my opinion if you will practices 15 Minute daily then your typing skill will be really fast and advance. 

    The Quick Brown Fox Jumps Over The Lazy Dog. 


    The line above is a line that cover A-Z all characters and the Capital Letter on each word will make you practices for the Shift Key Combination. Just remember that the key combination of  punctual keys are as ? . , respectively from right to left on the right side. That means Little finger will touch the '?', Right Ring finger touch '.' and Middle finger touch the ','.   
    The above picture is for the practices for the number row Practices. You need to type it with the respective fingers. First you can practices with your mobile number or Bank Account number. If you will type the bank account or any long number that you need to memorize then this is the best way to practices for the both reason.

  2. Mouse Practices
    There are a lot of ways to make practices for mouse. On my Way you can follow the easy step. You just need to workout on Ms Paint. Just open the Ms Paint and use brush tool to fill the screen first and after filling the screen use eraser tool to erase all. Just Practices once to fill with Bush tool And Practices to Wipe off the screen. It will increase your Smooth Mouse operation. 
  3. Word Processor Practices
    If you do not have good Practices with Word processor like Ms. Word, Open Office, Libre office Writer etc then you can make best practices typing a Letter. The Sample of Letter is given Below.

  4. Excel Practices
    You can Practices the excel yourself and its really easy as you practices it few times. Some useful Formula is given here.



Above Picture is a sample of Excel  and the formula. The thing you need to understand about the excel logic is very simple. If you are using the Statement of IF then Make sure it have a Syntax as . {If(Operation, Positve Result, Negetive result} 

i.e If a=b then tell it is equall other wise tell it not equall,

=if(a1=b1,"Equal","Not Equal")

Here If is the comparison and a1=b2 it is working argument and Equal is the first positive result. i.e If condition is true then it comes as result, second part will tell if the first statement is not true then what ever will be there comes out.  
Nepali Typing
Nepali typing is Most Crucial Topic if you are From Nepal. Actually there are two types of Nepali Typing Method. If you are typing on Mobile or Browser Based device then you need to go for the Nepali Unicode. If you are typing it on a Document like Microsoft word or any text editor then you need to work with fonts. There are several fonts available on the internet for the Nepali typing. I do suggest you to choose Either PREETI Font or SHANGRILA NUMERIC for the Nepali Typing.  For the Best Typing practices you can practices following line to make yourself Excellence.  You might Get it ridiculous but trust me it is a life hack for Nepali Typing.

Podcast !

Time is really dynamic and it never remain the same. Each time there were different era. There was time for a Radio, and later it was substituted by Television. Not only for the entertaining purpose, for the sake of information and advertisement the desire and the craze on it grew faster as a result people preferred to chose Visual rather than Audio only. 

As I told earlier, Time is really dynamic and the trend created by Television is currently lead by a mobile phone and the that is the future. Now a days people are really busy. There is no time to wait for the series of film or serials. The advertisement will no longer done on Television as before. So for the replacement of Movies DVD, there is the best place as Netflix and YouTube. But Did you ever expected that the Radio could regenerate its trend again?

Podcast is the future of radio series. Most of there people who don't have time to watch T.V then they could entertain by listening the podcast. Podcast are generally cast of the sound. Anything like music, Serials and episode wise any stories are available in audio as well. You can enjoy it while traveling on Bus, Car or any where. Waiting someone is really Boring, but listening the podcast on that time could really create a best taste on it.

Like, I am publishing a podcast. Its in Nepali language and for those who like to listen story I am there. You can listen my podcast any time when ever you are free.

Anchor is one of my favorite podcasting platform which allow listen and create own podcast. It allow people to get connected with podcasting and messaging. You can create the duet on Anchor and distribute it with other Platform. 

2.Apple Podcast


Apple podcast is free app that allow you to listen on various apple devices. If you are an iphone user than you can use it on your mobile for from your app store. 



3. Breaker

Breaker is also a podcast platform which allow people to listen and create both. It create a space for the podcaster and listener both. You can enjoy the podcast here for free. It's good to have a various podcast.

4. Google Podcast

Google podcast in a platform where you can listen a lot of podcast available on internet. You can create your on listening playlist with the RSS(Resource Description Framework Site Summary ) Feeds. Its totally free and you can download your favorite series as well. You can download the app on your mobile and enjoy it. 

5. Pocketcast

Pocket cast is another podcasting platform where you can enjoy the various casts. Its available clicking the title of it.

6. Radiopublic

  Learning is a continuous process and it never finish till our life end. A lot of things we learn in our day to day living and we apply it on our upcoming days ahead. Sometime we need to learn a lot of things which have direct relation to our work, profession, business and self development. Hello everyone,
       A Lot of people are interested to create their own website but they are worrying how to make it. Lets follow the simple steps and create a beautiful website with free of cost.

 If you are new for the website work let me explain something. Generally website is same as your MS word Document which runs on the internet and created with tags as <html>. If you don't know the codes you have to use CMS(Content management system software) .There are alot of CMS like wordpress, grav, Drupal etc. Once you write the codes it form a document which is run by a web browser. You have to save your Web document where everyone can open. It is called Hosting. You need some particular website name to redirect the address towards it which is domain or sub domain. In this blog you will get follows,

Hosting      : 000webhost
CMS          : Wordpress
Subdomain:mystoryblog.000webhostapp.com

Lets follow the Steps,
Web hosting
  1. Open www.000webhost.com and click get started and sign up. For instant signup with your facebook or google.
  2. When you sign up with facebook or google it will give a conformation just continue it.
  3. After that you have to click 'Get Started'
  4. On next step you have to choose how you want to create website. If you want to create a blog go to the Start blog.
  5. Choose which level of web user you are. If you are new then go for 'Beginner' and if you have basic knowledge then go for 'intermediate' and if you are excel in  developmental go for 'expert'.
  6. Now a placeholder will appear where you have to give a name of your website. Give any name what you wish to put. It depend on you and for my website i gave 'ksumanadhikari'.
    1. After  you give a name click on wordpress.
  7. Now you have to put new id password apart from the Hosting. Remember, Hosting Id password and Wordpress ID Pass will be different and it is not compulsory to be same.
  8. Once Wordpress get install on Your hosting login page will appear where you have to put the ID Pass which you put for wordpress.
  9.  Now a dashboard and CMS panel will appear where you can put your post, Plugins, themes and media.
  10. Thats it now your website is ready and if you need to edit your website and if it is wordpress just put your url as :www.yourwebsite/wp-admin.  
If you wish to check the website how it is created just type the website name and put /wp-admin. If a login panel is open that website is created with Wordpress.

 Do you know how the website is created?


  1. Website design
    web design is the way of creating the web page on what view you want to show case. There are alot of software which can be used for web design. Adobe Muse, Adobe dream weaver, Microsoft word, Microsoft Publisher etc are the Web designing software. Apart of them Blogger, Wordpress, Drupal Etc are the CMS which helps design website. If you want to create website with the original technique then you must know the following things.

    a) HTML

    Its abbreviation is Hyper Text Markup Language. It is the same thing which we have to read on school. I think you know it on better way. It is made of tags as <html><head><title>. The file you create html has the extension of .htm or .HTML.

    b) CSS

    It abbreviation is Cascading style sheet. It basically contain the Design of html. You can consider as the skin of skeleton HTML. It gives the dynamic looks to the html. Its tag are basically done in two types. You can either put the tag internally or externally. If you want to create a style then you can make external  file as .css and if you want to create the internal then you can put inside the<style> tag. The basic syntax of CSS is;

     h1{body:blue; font-size:10px;}
    c) Javascript

    Javascript is a action of the HTML if CSS is the skin of it. When ever you need to put the action on your website like clicking the button, performing the calculation, programming or creating object then you must use the JavaScript. JavaScript is also two types as the CSS. Either you can create the external file as .JS extension or you can put the script with in the <script>.

    It is very sensitive to the dot, semicolon, Character case etc. It require a detail knowledge of it to use in proper manner.

    d) PHP

    It abbreviation is Hypertext pre processor. PHP is a popular general-purpose scripting language that is especially suited to web development. It is much useful for the web application creation and development. All CMS are generally programmed with JavaScript and PHP along with Python. PHP is most useful for the web developer it is essential as tea leaf in tea. ASP is a alternative to the PHP. Facebook is created with PHP. General syntax for PHP is as follows;

    If you want to get the alternative to them then you can use  Java, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, C#,C++, Elixir and Rust. All are the Programming language which can be used as the PHP for the developmental.
  2. Web Hosting
    Web Hosting is the storage place of the HTML file which are created by a person, CMS or software. Some CMS like Blogger, Tumbler or Wordpress, Wix, weebly have their own hosting which is not isolated. You can create the website with their own building tool, but if you have created with The CMS the then you need to storage the document somewhere which is web hosting. It need to be purchased. Basically there are some website which are selling areWebhosting. Like Bluehost, hostgator, Hostinger, Godaddy etc. 

    There are some Website which are giving free hosting as well 000webhost and infinity free are the website which gives the limited storage for free. They are Freemium website which gives the service for your learning period.
  3. Web domain
    Web Domain is the address of your website. If you have the website it should have a address to redirect people to the page direction. If you will go to the www.ksumanadhikari.com.np then you will be redirecting to my website then that is my domain. There are a lot of sub domain which you can get free in  internet but for the Domain you MUST purchase.

    BUT i can tell you a secret how to get domain for free. It is not a sub domain. just click here to know how it is done.
